The ECOWORX Journey

For 25 years, EcoWorx® has been the backing system for making our high performance carpet tile. Launched as the first PVC-free and fully recyclable carpet tile, later becoming the first flooring product in the industry to be Cradle to Cradle Certified®.  Today we bring this same innovation to our resilient flooring with the introduction of ReMaterial.    

ReMaterial. PVC-free. Carbon Neutral and Low Embodied Carbon. Fully recyclable. And completely circular by design. A hard surface innovation for the next generation of flooring, made at the intersection of performance, sustainability and design.  

ReMaterial is made of polyolefin materials including up to 25% post-consumer recycled plastic derived from products like yogurt cups and laundry detergent containers.  Products can be fully recycled through Patcraft’s re[TURN]® reclamation program, at the end of a long life span, to be turned into the material ingredients to make other EcoWorx products. 

What's It Made Of?

This circular process creates an ingredient stream that reduces raw material extraction from the earth and lowers the embodied carbon footprint of future products to continue the cycle of creating new products out of old. ReMaterial is a carbon neutral collection with low embodied carbon.
